

Jh racing is run by John Hill, who has been racing since 1990. He has not only qualified for Hawaii Ironman every year to date, since his first in 1993,(bar one due to a broken arm) but every year he has successfully coached people to race Hawaii Ironman. He doesn’t just specialise in Ironman he is also world sprint champion, world championship podiums in every distance including tri cross and all multisports.
Based in eastern suburbs of Sydney Jh racing offers both online coaching all over Australia and the world as well as hands on training in Sydney. We cover every aspect from nutrition, psychology, planning, technique, equipment choice and set up, strength training, and more.

Jh recognises that there are 2 sides of triathlon i.e. the social side but also importantly achieving your goals. The second can lack in some groups due to not having the experience or knowledge. You will find hard to beat Jh racings 25 years of coaching people from top professionals to the basic age grouper who don’t know where to start.
Have a think about the following:
- Do you set goals and did you meet them?
- Do you train with a good group that helps motivate you and that you can relate to?
- Are you swimming/cycling/running technically correct?
- Do you understand nutrition during and after racing?
- Do you understand heart rates and structured pace during training and racing to achieve your goals?
- Do you peak at the right time for your A race?
- Do you do endurance/strength/speed work and recovery at the correct times of the week/month/year?
- Are you good at transitions?
- Do you understand the most recent training principles?
- Is your training varied or have you plateaued?

Coach and support
Jh is head coach and is a performance level 2 triathlon coach of over 20 years, coaching is online or hands on which means you can discuss any topic in person, online, skype or any means available. Sessions available can vary from brick sessions, transition training, technique training, beginners training and more.
